Oliver Santiago
Oliver Santiago is a registered Clinical Psychologist and a member of the Australian Clinical Psychologist Association. Oliver works with adults experiencing a range of life challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, personality disorders, relationship difficulties and also provides couples and marriage therapy.
Oliver’s experience in psychological science has spanned a period of 13 years. His acquired knowledge stems from practices within the community, organisational, educational and hospital sectors. This myriad of experiences has shaped his approach to how he listens to and understands his client’s narrative.
Oliver’s therapeutic style and approach draw heavily from the principles of psychodynamic psychotherapy. Other methods such as Jungian Informed, Schema and Cognitive Psychology are woven into the dynamic conversation. Through a strong therapeutic alliance and his tailored approach, a dialogue is fostered to assist the client to bring their unconscious experience into the conscious realm where it can be explored in a safe and non-judgmental space. The aim of which is to assist the client to develop deeper insight and set them on a path to overcome their challenges and discover their authentic and individuated selves.
