Marsha brings passion and enthusiasm to her work and enjoys working with adolescents and adults presenting with a diverse range of issues, such as depression, anxiety, substance use, behavioral issues, self-harm, mood disorders, trauma, grief and loss. Marsha has extensive experience across a number of mental health settings including community based, education (secondary and tertiary), residential and forensic.
Marsha works from a collaborative, non-judgmental and empathic stance, to provide a safe space where client’s feel supported and empowered to address underlying concerns, develop insight and increase self-confidence. Furthermore, Marsha passionately believes in human capacity for growth and change, and for creation of a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Through practical application of a variety of evidenced based treatments, clients are invited to understand the impact of identified issues on their functioning, to learn a variety of new coping strategies and skills, in order to enhance overall wellbeing and promote deeper connections.
