Chhavi Pal

Chhavi is a Registered Psychologist and Full Member of the Australian Psychological Society. She has extensive experience as a Psychologist for over 20 years. She has worked with clientele covering the lifespan from adolescence to older adults.

Over her career, Chhavi has managed clinical presentations including stress anxiety, depression, bullying, relationship issues, trauma, self-esteem, sexuality, weight management, alcohol, sexual assault, Alzheimer’s and dementia, and also cases involving vocational rehabilitation. She has strong skills in executive coaching and personal development. Chhavi also understands the complex dynamics and unique challenges often facing working women. She is a firm believer in empowering individuals and providing them with education regarding what could be contributing to their mental wellbeing. She uses clinical modalities such as CBT, ACT, EFT and DBT Informed Practice, and she is flexible in her approach to tailor to the requirements of each client.

Chhavi has vast experience working with people from cultural and linguistically diverse populations. Her knowledge of mental health consumer and carer issues was developed early in her career when Chhavi was a psychologist for an agency catering for the needs of mental health carers.  She understands the impact mental health issues have on families and friends.
